  • When can I move in?

    If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime during normal business hours.

  • How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

    All contracts are month-to-month. You can move out whenever you please, but please note we do not prorate or refund rent upon move out.

  • What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

    We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

  • Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

    No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.

  • How do I make a payment?

    We offer Auto-Pay to make paying your storage bill as simple as possible. You can sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card, savings or checking account monthly. You can even update your credit card information via our website. You can pay in person, mail a check or money order or make a payment through our website.

  • Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

    Yes. We sell various moving supplies in our lobby, and offer limited delivery options to our local area.

  • How do I know how much storage space I will need?

    You can either use our Storage Calculator on our website or call our friendly storage staff for assistance.

  • Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

    Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

  • Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?

    No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours.

  • Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

    Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts any time during access hours.

  • Does your facility offer any green features?

    While revitalizing our existing building, we recycled or reused over 90% of the waste material. We are planting over 280 trees and shrubs on the property, all indigenous and drought resistant. These plants will be irrigated with recycled water. Other sustainable building features we incorporated are LED lights, using natural lighting wherever possible, double-paned windows, and heavy insulation—all major energy savers!

    We have dedicated over 20% of our 6.2 acres to open space, recognizing that the multitude of open space that San Luis Obispo enjoys is what makes it so beautiful. To minimize our trucks’ impact on this earth, we use biodiesel and have installed chips that govern the speed of our trucks at the speed at which they use fuel most efficiently and cleanly. We also encourage our employees to bike to work or carpool, and have built them a special bike storage locker. When you move and store as much as we do, you use a lot of packing materials. We recycle thousands of pounds of cardboard yearly.

  • What security features do you offer?

    We offer a 24-hour video surveillance system, a well-lit facility with high fences, and we are staffed by Meathead Movers. Need we say more?

    We offer everything from full service packing and unpacking to furniture removal to either the dump or donation site!
