Protecting What's Worth Keeping®
Security is one of the primary concerns of anyone considering where to store their items. We designed Meathead Mini Storage with this in mind. Not only did we make sure to equip our property with the ample amounts of newest and best security technology, we are able to offer what no other storage unit can: the security of having your belongings stored at a location swarming with strong, athletic men eager to Protect What's Worth Keeping.
Staffed by Meathead Movers
Our facility is staffed by Meathead Movers. The San Luis Obispo Meathead Mini Storage is also home to the Meathead Movers Corporate Headquarters and San Luis Obispo Operations Center. Whereas most storage companies have a single manager onsite, our facility will be abuzz with activity seven days a week as dozens of Meathead crews are on premise, along with the full Meathead staff---all of whom are constantly looking out for the best interests of our clients and their belongings.
Computerized Gate Access
Meathead Mini Storage uses state-of-the-art equipment that controls access into and out of the facility. Once a client has leased a unit, they will choose a unique code that will grant access to and from the facility. Our cutting edge keypad entry system is integrated through our digital security systems and allows only authorized clients through the security gate.
Cameras and Digital Recording
The more cameras a storage facility has the fewer the blind spots there are and the greater the deterrent the system will provide. Meathead Mini Storage has over 20 cameras recording digitally, 24 hours a day.
Well lit drive aisles and corridors
The lighting strategy at Meathead Mini Storage has been designed with security and safety in mind. State-of-the-art energy saving LED lights throughout the facility have built in motion detection that goes from a "sleep" mode, which provides ample lighting for surveillance cameras, to "full power" mode once motion is detected.
Fortress style of building and high fences
In the storage industry the best way to build is called "fortress style." Fortress style building refers to having all perimeter buildings only open towards the center of the facility and leaving no perimeter gaps in building or fence coverage. We have achieved this efficient layout which provides an extra layer of protection for our clients.
